Terms of Service
Last updated October 16, 2026
The short version: your music and your fans stay yours. Free has no time limit, paid plans can be cancelled any time, and within 14 days of a payment you get your money back if you ask.
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
meloshare is run by LL Platforms UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Wuhlestraße 7a, 12683 Berlin, Germany, registered at the Amtsgericht Hamburg under HRB 200065 (“we”, “us”). These terms apply to everything meloshare offers on meloshare.com, melo.la and in the app. By creating an account, you agree to them.
2. What meloshare does
meloshare turns a link to your song into a page where fans choose their streaming platform and land right at the song. You can design release pages and a bio link, collect fans who want to hear about your next release, create images to share, and see how your pages perform. What each plan includes is shown on our pricing page and in Settings › Plan.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 18, or have the permission of a parent or guardian.
- You may run an account for yourself, your band or an artist you represent.
- Your details must be true, and your email address must be one you can receive mail at.
- Keep access to your email account safe, because that is how you sign in. Tell us if you think someone else got in.
4. Plans and the trial
The Free plan costs nothing and has no time limit. The Artist and Premium plans cost money and are billed monthly or yearly in advance; prices include VAT where it applies.
Every new account starts with 14 days of Premium, without a card. When the trial ends, your account moves to Free by itself. Nothing is charged unless you choose a plan.
5. Buying a plan
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. When you buy a plan, you buy it from Paddle, and Paddle’s buyer terms apply to the purchase, including the statutory right of withdrawal for consumers in the EU and the UK.
A plan renews automatically for the same period until you cancel it. Running plans keep their price. Should we ever need to change the price of a running plan, we will ask you first; if you don’t agree, the plan ends with the period you paid for.
6. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel a plan at any time in Settings › Plan. It then stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and your account moves to Free afterwards. Within 14 days of a payment, you can ask for a full refund without giving a reason; how this works is explained in our Refund Policy.
If you move to Free, nothing is deleted. Your pages stay online, and features of the paid plan pause until you choose it again.
7. Your content
Your music, artwork, names, texts and links stay yours. You allow us to store, show and adapt them as far as needed to run meloshare for you: on your pages, in link previews, in the images we create for you to share, and in your account. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account.
You confirm that you have the rights to everything you add, in particular to the artwork and the music you link to, and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights. If someone claims that your content infringes their rights, we may take it offline while the claim is checked, and we will tell you.
8. What is not allowed
- pages for music or artwork you have no rights to, or pretending to be another artist,
- anything illegal, misleading, hateful or harmful to others,
- adding fans to your list who did not sign up themselves, or importing lists from elsewhere,
- using fans’ addresses for anything other than what they signed up for,
- creating pages in bulk with automated tools, or attacking, overloading or probing meloshare.
9. Your fans and data protection
When fans sign up on your pages, the list is yours: you decide about it and are its controller under the GDPR. We store it and send the emails on your behalf as your processor. The terms for this are in our Data Processing Agreement, which is part of these terms. If you download the list, you are responsible for using it only as the fans agreed. How we handle data otherwise is described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Your address on melo.la
Your address (such as melo.la/yourname) is yours for as long as you have an account. If you change it, the old address forwards to the new one. We may take back an address that infringes a trademark or another artist’s name, and offer you a different one. After you delete your account, the address may become available to others.
11. Other services
meloshare links to streaming platforms and uses public information from them, such as covers and links. We are not affiliated with Spotify, Apple, Amazon, YouTube, Deezer, TIDAL or any other platform, and their names and logos belong to their owners. We can’t guarantee that a platform keeps a song or a link available.
12. Availability and changes to meloshare
We work to keep your pages reachable around the clock, but we can’t promise an uninterrupted service. We announce maintenance in advance whenever we can. meloshare keeps evolving: we may add, change or remove features, as long as the features of a plan you paid for remain available until the end of that period.
13. Ending the contract
You can delete your account at any time in Settings › Account. Your pages go offline at once and links you shared stop working; a running plan is cancelled with it, and a refund follows our Refund Policy.
We can end a free account with 30 days’ notice, and a paid plan at the end of its billing period, also with 30 days’ notice. If you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, we can suspend or end your account right away; where possible, we will warn you first.
14. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the German Product Liability Act, and where we have given a guarantee. For slight negligence, we are liable only if we breach an essential obligation, one whose fulfilment makes the contract possible and on which you may rely, and then only for the damage typical and foreseeable for this kind of contract. Otherwise our liability is excluded.
15. Changes to these terms
We will tell you about changes to these terms by email at least four weeks before they take effect. Changes to the price or to what we essentially owe each other need your agreement. Other changes apply unless you object before they take effect; we will point this out in the email. If you object, either side can end the contract at that date.
16. Law and place of jurisdiction
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection of the country where you live remains unaffected. If you are a merchant, the place of jurisdiction is Hamburg, Germany.
